When the Temperature breaks

Humans aren't the only ones enjoying the break in the heat. These feathered beings were out and about this a.m.

Just when I think I am over shooting Hawks....along comes another pretty face.

Stopped by this weekend to check on the two

Pair of locals in the Sabine Forest. 1st pair posed

but 2nd pair was shy..

Eagle and an Osprey North East Texas

150 yards is a long way to hope for a decent
picture with only a 200 mm lens. Baldy
was on the Red River taking a lunch break


Even at that distance the bird was shy and
didn't want to share.


This bird didn't want to share either,
Looks like trout. This Osprey was found
at the floodgates of Lake Texoma , Texas side.



Jus' a serious kinda bird
